About Us

Hummuna Hummus is a woman-founded, Idaho based company dedicated to sourcing local and fresh ingredients from Idaho farmers. Our farmers include Bare Beans of Rupert, ID and Purple Sage Farms of Middleton, Idaho (an all-organic farm). We currently have four delicious flavors of hummus being sold in stores but we are planning on expanding new flavors to continue spreading the love. Keep an eye out for our upcoming flavors!

Sevana Saroyan, founder and creator of Hummuna Hummus, has a true passion for hummus that began as she grew up in a household where hummus was a staple food at every family gathering. She realized that there was a HUGE FLAVOR GAP between homemade hummus and store-bought hummus and she went on a quest to close that gap. And, close that gap she did! Sevana rented a space at a nearby commercial kitchen and began selling her hummus at the local boise farmer's market. Her hummus quickly became known as THE HOMEMADE HUMMUS inside a store bought container.  She now runs and operates a hummus production facility in Idaho where she employs local Hummus Lovers and she buys ingredients from local farmers. Sevana aims to employ Idahoans who share her same passion for family, food-quality & food-safety. And THAT is why you’ll taste the difference in Hummuna Hummus!
